Ivies and Pearls

Ivies and Pearls is a mother/daughter luncheon hosted annually by Upsilon Omega Omega in partnership with the Ivy Heritage Foundation of Irmo.  It is a luncheon that evolved as part of the Emeralds of Excellence scholarship program which was established in 1998.  As part of Emeralds of Excellence, it was known as the Mother - Daughter Tea and was always one of the most celebrated events of the debutante season.  

Due to its success, Upsilon Omega Omega decided to expand the tea to an annual luncheon, opening it up to the public, and creating another avenue to provide scholarships for students in the Midlands. Now mothers and daughters, aunts and grandmothers, gather annually to share an afternoon of high fashion, high tea, and most importantly words of wisdom.

Mothers are encouraged to dress like their legacies as we come together to celebrate the ties that bind, as there is no greater love than that between a mother and child.
